Sleep Training - Hard but Worth It

I wanted to write this post in hopes that it might encourage some mommas or help some parents out. Most of you know, we have two sons. Cash is 2 1/2 and Stetson is 9 months. We have sleep trained both of our boys and it made us happier parents and a happier family after sleep training.

Everyone has a different parenting style. Everyone disciplines their children differently, some people formula feed or breast feed, co-sleep or have their baby in their nursery from the day they come home from the hospital. Every parent is different just like every baby is different. With that being said, the way we have sleep trained our kids won't be for everyone. And that's okay.

When Cash was born, he was the easiest baby in the world from the beginning. I'm not just saying that cause he's my kid. I've had plenty of experience with babies and children of all ages. He was seriously an angel. I can probably count on my hand how many times he was fussy just to fuss, if at all. But, …

New Chicks In The Family

Good morning and happy weekend! We made it through another week :)

I just had to come on here and share with you guys our latest adventure here in Kim. Some of you have probably already seen the new members of our family on Instagram, Snapchat, or Facebook but I wanted to share some more photos of them with y'all.

The other day D was in one of the bigger towns that surrounds us taking care of some stuff for his EMT certification. I had asked him to run to Big R to get dog food and while he was there he sent me a picture of the chicks they have right now (I wonder if he regrets doing that now lol).

I jokingly sent him a text saying that he should get some and with a little convincing and telling him how much Cash would love them, he got them!!! I was so excited, you guys. Lol

We were kind of nervous that our dog would eat them. I still watch him closely everyday because he looks at the chicks like they're a plate of chicken nuggets ready to get eaten. Lol. I'm not kidding …
