Kara and Tyler In Home Maternity Session with Eagleshield Photo

As you guys probably know, I recently decided to start my photography business. For the last year or so I have been practicing on my own kiddos, myself, and other things to learn about lighting, editing and just trying to find my style.

I reached out on one of our local Facebook groups about needing a couple to take photos of and thankfully had a great response from a lot of people and I'm so excited to share one of the sessions with you.

We did an in-home couples/maternity session and I'm dying over this couple. Are they not the CUTEST?!

After wrapping up the photos in the kitchen, we headed to the nursery and snapped some super cute pictures in there of the two of them and then if you keep scrolling, you'll see their adorable doggies that joined as well.

Isn't she so beautiful?!

Loved all of the super cute decor in the nursery.

Annnnndddd....

THE DOGGIES! How freaking cute are these family pics?!

Thanks so much for having me, Kara and Tyler and letting me capture this special time in your lives!

If you want to check out more of my work, you can follow me on Instagram, check out my website here, or if you want to view the full gallery from Kara and Tyler's session click here :)

Bloomlife Pregnancy Tracker + Contraction Monitor Review

I can't believe that as of today I am 34 weeks pregnant. This pregnancy has flown by and we are so close to meeting our third son! I've had the opportunity to try a product recently that has been incredible and I'm so excited to share about it with you guys. I'll be sharing about the Bloomlife contraction monitor in this post and sharing my honest review.

Most of you know this is my third pregnancy. Now, I'm no expert at motherhood and pregnancy, but I do have some experience since this is my third time around. With my first two sons, I never felt any Braxton Hicks. Braxton Hicks are contractions that occur before real labor. They are normal to experience and they are not a sign that you're about to give birth. I like to think of them as the bodies way of preparing for labor. They can start fairly early in your pregnancy and you might not even know that you're experiencing them.  (A good thing to remember about Braxton Hicks and real labor contractions is …

How to Become an Influencer + Collab with Companies

If you want to become an influencer and start collaborating with companies, keep reading! I share my journey as an influencer so far and all that I've learned. Hopefully this can help you get started :)
I'm going to apologize in advance if this is all over the place. Hahaha. Blogging while your needy sick toddlers are around isn't the easiest and I've thought of a million different things I want to talk about as I've been writing, so this may seem a bit scatterbrained. Lol. But hopefully this can help some of y'all that have wanted to start doing this! I enjoy being honest with you guys and hope that you all know how thankful I am for every one of you that I have connected with online!

If you've been following me on Instagram for awhile, you'll know that I haven't been doing this for a long time. In fact, my first collaboration wasn't even until around April of this year, so I've only been doing this for around 9 months. I'm still very …

Being a Young Mom: My Age Doesn't Define My Ability to be a Good Mom

"Being a young parent means we met a little early, but it also means I get to love you a little longer."
I got pregnant when I was 19. My boyfriend (now husband for over 4 years) and I had only known each other for around 7-8 months by the time I got pregnant.
I always hoped I'd be a mom someday, but I never thought I'd become a mom so young. My body was still growing and changing when I got pregnant. I barely had anytime to just feel like a young woman with a woman's body. And before I knew it, my body was no longer just my body...
My belly and my breasts grew, my feet got swollen, and my skin was no longer smooth... It was hard saying goodbye to my body and knowing things would never quite be the same, but I saw the beauty in it. I knew my body was made for growing life and I tried my best to embrace the changes and prepare for my new life as a young mother.

There are a couple things that I think are amazing (and of course not the only amazing things, but jus…
