The Coffee Shop Hermiston Needed

I'm a Denver native. It's safe to say that I've been to more coffee shops than I can count.
But after moving to Hermiston (Northern Oregon) in November, I saw that that wasn't the case here.
We have a Starbucks and a Dutch Bros, but neither compare to what Union Club brings to the table.

Last week my parents were visiting and my mom and I snuck out while leaving all 3 of the boys home with grandpa (Thanks Dad 😊) to go check out what's on main street here in town. I haven't gotten the chance to check out all of the cute shops here until then and it was so fun!

But little did I know (yeah, yeah. I'm super out of the loop. Blame it on me being home 24/7 with my kids and still being new-ish here. Lol) a new coffee shop had literally just opened up on main street!

And oh. my. gosh.

I FELT LIKE I WAS BACK IN DENVER.

I mean, look at this place! Isn't it gorgeous?! I love the brick and wood - plus they used such gorgeous deep colors for the decor on the inside. It looks so classy and high-end.

I kept telling my parents as we'd drive by that I loved the exterior and how great it looked - and I had no idea it was the new coffee shop! Boy, I need to get out more. Lol.

They had their soft opening the day before we went in - which was such perfect timing for the one afternoon my mom and I snuck out to have some girl time.

They really outdid themselves with this coffee shop though. It's amazing. It's a pretty large space and they did such a great job with the decor and making the space feel open but private at the same time. Lots of perfect spots to come sit down and work, or grab a seat with a friend for a coffee date. They also have rooms to rent out upstairs and even more seating up there. I had no idea it was going to be so spacious! Plus the coffee shop turns into a bar at night which I can't wait to come back for.

I can't tell you how many people we got to chat with that were going on and on about Union Club and how Hermiston needed a place like this. I so agree. Such a great atmosphere to come grab a drink and enjoy yourself.

I think I'm going to have to tell my husband that I'm going to sneak out for an hour or so on some evenings to go enjoy a nice cup of coffee and edit some photos or work on a blog post. It's just a couple minutes away from our place and such a perfect place to take a break from my mom gig and get some "me" time.

You can check out their Instagram or Facebook to see more photos of Union Club. I can't wait to head back and try some of their other drinks and food. Let me know what you like to order there so I can give it a shot!

Thank you for making a great space like this in Hermiston for all of us to enjoy, Union Club! Hermiston needed this and I'm so excited to have such a great coffee shop right down the street.

How to Become an Influencer + Collab with Companies

If you want to become an influencer and start collaborating with companies, keep reading! I share my journey as an influencer so far and all that I've learned. Hopefully this can help you get started :)
I'm going to apologize in advance if this is all over the place. Hahaha. Blogging while your needy sick toddlers are around isn't the easiest and I've thought of a million different things I want to talk about as I've been writing, so this may seem a bit scatterbrained. Lol. But hopefully this can help some of y'all that have wanted to start doing this! I enjoy being honest with you guys and hope that you all know how thankful I am for every one of you that I have connected with online!

If you've been following me on Instagram for awhile, you'll know that I haven't been doing this for a long time. In fact, my first collaboration wasn't even until around April of this year, so I've only been doing this for around 9 months. I'm still very …

Bloomlife Pregnancy Tracker + Contraction Monitor Review

I can't believe that as of today I am 34 weeks pregnant. This pregnancy has flown by and we are so close to meeting our third son! I've had the opportunity to try a product recently that has been incredible and I'm so excited to share about it with you guys. I'll be sharing about the Bloomlife contraction monitor in this post and sharing my honest review.

Most of you know this is my third pregnancy. Now, I'm no expert at motherhood and pregnancy, but I do have some experience since this is my third time around. With my first two sons, I never felt any Braxton Hicks. Braxton Hicks are contractions that occur before real labor. They are normal to experience and they are not a sign that you're about to give birth. I like to think of them as the bodies way of preparing for labor. They can start fairly early in your pregnancy and you might not even know that you're experiencing them.  (A good thing to remember about Braxton Hicks and real labor contractions is …

Instagram Tips + Tricks

So you want to increase your engagement on your posts? Perhaps you have a small business and you feel like your posts aren't getting seen? Or maybe you're a mom like me trying to do this whole influencer thing and want your engagement to be better? I'm sharing some tips and tricks that I've learned along the way to help you out and teach you how to best use Instagram.

It would be nice if Instagram weren't all about numbers, but let's not kid ourselves. It is. Most people want to reach the 10k mark so they have the swipe up feature for their followers. And a lot of companies tend to reach out to accounts with large followings. It makes sense, it's business. But don't let it get you down. I myself have 5k followers and I'm not letting that keep me from trying to grow my page and get out there.

So, let's talk engagement real quick. If you don't know what engagement means, I'll break it down for you. A lot of companies that work with influe…
